For this mixed-media painting, I wanted to do a skull. One of my favorite scarves has skulls all over it, so I thought it would be fun to do a skull with a twist. I used bright colors, metallics and gold leaf. Abstract expressionism has always been my favorite style of art and it was fun to abstract this skull while still having it maintain it’s original integrity.
